Hi neighbors! 

We’re excited to be hosting an official Roots & Wings Festival Event! The Roots & Wings Festival is held from Saturday, October 18th -Sunday, November 2nd, and is a community-wide celebration honoring Arbor Day and Monarch Appreciation Day in Austin.
Join Copperfield in celebrating the Roots & Wings Festival on October 26th, 9:00AM-11:00AM Copperfield Park Roots & Wings Festival.

Mark your Calendars! This event is free and open to the public. You are invited to join, celebrate and learn about trees and pollinators with fun activities and giveaways. Stay tuned for more updates!

Date & Time: Sunday, October 26, from 9-11 AM

Where: Copperfield Park, 1425 E. Yager Lane, at the Pavillion  

We are planning: 

🌲 Giveaways of trees, plants and seeds while supplies last and you can bring native plants to share with your neighbors.  

🦋 Activity kits for children and pollinator and tree friendly info for adults while supplies last 

🤓 Fire-wise information and an activity for youth

🌳 Guided nature hike at 10 AM

🐦 Fun activities for all ages

*Wildflower seed ball making and tossing

🍄‍🟫And More!

Tree and Pollinator theme costumes are welcome and encouraged

Parking is limited, so plan to walk, bike, carpool, or take public transportation. Free street parking is available in the areas marked on our map to reach the Pavillion from Atterbury or Blakeney trail entrances.
