About
Each April, in honor of Earth Month, Keep Austin Beautiful hosts Keep Austin Beautiful Day, a city-wide day of service spanning over one hundred sites in all ten city council districts in the greater Austin area.
During Keep Austin Beautiful Day, thousands of volunteers work together to remove litter, restore native habitats, and beautify neighborhoods. On Saturday, April 18, join us in caring for the beloved green spaces and waterways that make Austin so special for the 41st Annual Keep Austin Beautiful Day.
What to bring: Closed toe shoes, a FULL water bottle, and comfortable clothing. We will provide all tools and neoprene gloves – if you have your own gardening or work gloves or a preferred brand of bug spray you are invited to bring them.
Where to park: Parking is available streetside along Blakeney Ln and Rotherham Dr.
Where we will begin: We will begin at the entrance to the greenbelt at the end of Blakeney Ln.
Youth Volunteers: All volunteers under the age of 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must register and attend with the youth volunteer. Independent registrations submitted by minors are not permitted.
A NOTE ON SAFETY: With all of our volunteer events, we encourage you to “See and Be Seen!” Be mindful of your fellow volunteers and maintain awareness of your surroundings at all times. Dial 911 in case of emergency.
